NBA player Tony Parker is officially a first-time dad. A spokesman for the San Antonio Spurs confirmed that the NBA player’s fiancee Axelle Francine gave birth to their first child, a baby boy named Josh, on Wednesday, April 30.
“This is certainly a beautiful day,” wrote Parker on his website. “It’s
nice to be a dad and start with a win, it’s great.” Several of Tony’s
colleagues commented on his excitement about fatherhood, telling media
that the San Antonio ‘Spurs’ player was overjoyed that his son was born
just in time for Wednesday night’s game. “He was really excited before
the game,” said ‘Spurs’ forward Tim Duncan.
